On Wednesday, October 11, the ULH Event Center in Houston, TX, came alive with energy and enthusiasm as AAHOA hosted the Southeast Texas Regional. One of the most remarkable aspects of this year's Southeast Regional was the exceptional turnout. With more than 380 attendees, it was the largest regional gathering of the year. The turnout is a testament to the dedication of local hoteliers and the region's unwavering support for AAHOA's mission. Additionally, attendees made $15,000+ contributions to the AAHOA PAC.

Southeast Texas Regional Director Ailesh Mulji was thrilled by the success of the event. 

"The regionals in Houston never fail to amaze me,” Mulji said. “We had an outstanding turnout, the food was amazing, and the vendors were thrilled to meet so many local hoteliers.”

The regional event also hosted special guest speakers, Council Member Mike Knox and Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. 

Despite his term ending on January 2, 2024, Council Member Knox assured attendees of Houston's unwavering commitment to supporting the hotel industry and local businesses now and in the future. 

AAHOA President & CEO Laura Lee provided a legislative and advocacy update and highlighted the association's ongoing efforts to champion the interests of America’s hotel owners. 

The success of the Southeast Texas Regional was made possible through the dedication and hard work of Southeast Texas Regional Director Ailesh Mulji and his team of ambassadors. Their commitment to making this regional event exceptional was evident in every aspect of the gathering.
