The North Pacific Regional Conference & Trade Show was a resounding success, bringing together industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders across the region. The event was marked by elected officials addressing AAHOA Members, engaging business updates, and valuable networking opportunities. 

Here are some noteworthy statements made by the elected officials who took time to address the crowd:

San José Cty Councilmember Arjun Batra expressed his appreciation for AAHOA's dedication to reviving the tourism and travel industry, stating, "We are almost back to pre-pandemic days. We aren't there yet, but we are close."

California Attorney General Rob Bonta emphasized the importance of collaboration with those on the front lines and local government officials, stating, "We are at our best when we are working cooperatively."

Congresswoman Barbara Lee shared her commitment to dismantling policies that discriminate against people of color and thanked AAHOA Members for their contributions to the California economy and the creation of high-paying jobs.

Attendees left the conference with a wealth of knowledge and made more than $36,000 in PAC contributions for the North Pacific region.

“It was a pretty astounding experience, and I'm thankful the event went flawless,” North Pacific Regional Director Ankit Panchal said. “My regional Ambassadors, AAHOA team, fellow Board of Directors, and Officers were the force behind making this event successful!”

 It's important to highlight that AAHOA collaborated with the California Hotel & Lodging Association to make this regional event a reality, reinforcing the shared goals between both organizations to advance the industry in the Golden State.
